Hi Stephen,
We do this via CLI, syncing from Omnibus. We need to run an agent to
receive the ack update, but once it's received, we do "update alarm -r
aid=xxxx ack=true".
In the Notifier directory, there is an AlarmAck binary that should do
the same thing.
Usage: AlarmAck -a <alarm> -l <landscape handle>
AlarmAck -m <model handle>
You could even install a bundle (Notifier/CLI) on your Attention system
to call it from there.

We now use Attention as our notification system and this can receive and act upon changes to the alert status through SMS/Phone/email. This means that if an engineer changes the status of the alert to acknowledged we can get Attention to change the status of the Attention action and get it to do something like run a batch file to run a command on the Spectrum server through say wscript for example.
