Hi all,

We have some customised flapping rules that we have rolled out in the
past, and there are some of the box flapping rules, but we are
constantly getting burnt by some new type of event that is flapping.
(today it is wireless controllers)

Does anyone use a more generalised flapping rule? Eg. if the same alarm
has been generated 15 times on one device in the last hour, it is
considered a flapping alarm.

We use AlarmNotifier to integrate with Omnibus. Of course the devices
should stop sending the traps, but that is another issue. Hoping to
deal with it closer to the source (Spectrum), but to add a new flapping
for any type of alarm is too many changes.

Appreciate any ideas, Thanks.
