I also want some more fields like the notes one, and I was thinking to use the
gib fields as attributes (these seem to be global and available on all models)
and update the xml files in OneClick to display them, does anyone know are
these fields used any more as SpectroGraph no more used.

a. gib_mtype_name (0x1155f)
b. gib_mtype_name_menu (0x11560)
c. gib_model_name (0x11561)
d. gib_model_name_menu (0x11563)

thanks,

Hi Rene,

You will need MTE (Model Type Editor) and create new fields in the
Spectrum-Database. It is possible but you should know what you are doing..

Kind regards,

Hi,

it sounds simple but I don´t find the answer in the documentation.

I want to split the notes field into multiple new model attributes.

How could I create new spectrum based model attributes without a mapped snmp
oid?

Thanks

René Ave
