Hi Ivana, another possibility for windows is to run the perl scripts within a batch scipt (.bat file). Just generate a xxx.bat file with the following entries:
@echo off perl %path_of_your_script%\db_maintenance.pl -q #the -q stands for quiet mode (see documentation) This .bat file you can schedule with Windows Scheduler when ever you want the script to be executed! We backup DDM daily, but on Saturdays, after DDM backup, we stop Archive Manager, run optimize.pl and maintenance.pl, and restart Archive Manager.
