Hi Saurabh,

I think probably PTF_H0619 would fix it.

In the project I'm on right now, the search criteria for a new custom NCM
family simply disappeared when you saved! - so even worse than your situation.
And yes you can change them after the family's populated otherwise wouldn't be
much use to anyone!

I've attached the release note so you can read the blurb - but this one's a fix
to go on top of 9.2 Hotfix 06 - whereas it sounds like you're on H05 (aka
9.2.1)...

I'm sure Support will sort you out when you open a ticket for it...

Good luck

Dan.

Subject: [spectrum] Edit NCM Families

Hello all,

Is it possible to Edit the NCM family’s search option after you have created
and have captured few configurations.

We are on Spectrum 9.2.1 on RHEL and I am trying to edit a NCM Family as its
criteria is outdated to include new devices, however Spectrum is not allowing
me to do that.

Any ideas or known issues here?

Thanks,

    REQUIREMENTS

SPECTRUM 09.02.00 and H06 are prerequisites for installation of
        this patch.

    OVERVIEW

This is a PTF (Program Temporary Fix) for the following issues:

Symptom: While upgrading our Spectro Servers and OneClick
Servers from ver. 9.2 H04 to 9.2.1, Global Collections and Device
Families
now have a new required field called "Owner". Is that field really
mandatory
and if so, what belongs there? Real name, username, etc. Also, while
we're
able to edit the Global Collections, we can't edit the Device Families,
which
also have a required Owner field.

Resolution: Adding new dialogs that are NCM device family specific,
rather than children
of global collection dialogs. This adds more code to maintain, but
eliminates
some confusion that can occur due to inheritance.
