Hi all, does anybody have experience with monitoring of Juniper's MX Routers with two routing engines (RE)?
The MX series has got two routing engines. We discovered the device with the active at the shared IP address and everything works well. If we switch over the RE, the second becomes active. In that case some MIB-values discovered by spectrum vary or show incorrect values. For example system uptime varies, interface statistics fail (-> interface performance view). If we rediscover the device, the router symbol switches from "MX XX router" to "Juniper M Rtr". For me it seems that the information of both RE-SNMP Agent is completely different (which has jet to be verified by me). Currently we have Spectrum 9.2.1.6.78, update to next version planned in two weeks Any experience / suggestions are welcome.
