I am looking at creating a usage threshold alarm on a port but it can only be active between certain times of the day
Looking at a couple of ways of addressing this - one is via EventDisp editing - - modify the event 0x11337 so it checks if the model is a member of a GC (find this is a good way of making things a bit more dynamic) and the time is between XX and YY then new event which generates a critical alarm else carry on as normal And looking a bit further seems I need to call a procedure to do it - so time to work out the nested syntax I suppose Something along the lines of if gethour > x and gethour < Y and model is a memder of GC then create event that becomes critical alarm OR - create a watch that does similar I tend to favour the modifty event method as its a bit more universal Just wondering if any one has any good clues or pointers on this one?
