We are experiencing multiple OC console "challenges" and have been directed by CA Spectrum Support to move to 1.7.0.2x. Our (38) server DSS Infrastructure is currently on Hot Fix 10, with Hot Fix 11 currently being tested in our Development DSS. Since Hot Fix 11 requires 1.6.0.43 we went ahead and moved our users to 1.7.0.21/25 and while we still have occasional OC "challenges" most of those occurring less frequently and therefore require fewer client restarts. We have not experienced the Locator Search issues that I am aware of.
I agree prior to Hot Fix 10 we had frequent "challenges" with JRE 1.7.0.x and backed our users off to 1.6.0.xx.
