Hi, we are using Spectrum with the VCAiM and SystemEDGE to monitor our VMWare environment. When the SystemEDGE is reading the inventory from the VCenter, we got performance problems and an alarm in Spectrum, that the connection between SystemEDGE/AIM and the VCenter is lost. Anybody here has the same problems with huge VMWare environment and maybe have a hint for us?
Using the feature, to model only one datacenter per SpectroServer didn't help much, because the AIM always read-out the whole inventory from the VCenter. Our only approach is, to use several VCenter users, which can only see one datacenter. We had to install several AIM-Servers, which are using these users just to decrease the amount of readable items from the VCenter. Thank you.
