Hello Felix, list,
there is a specific EventProcedure that might be used for debugging within
EventDisp files:
${SPECROOT}/SS/CsVendor/CA/Procedures/DebugValue.xml
Another, more common approach would be to create an alarm based on the event
containing the variable, use the Notifier to log the event message to some file
and clear the alarm afterwards.

Hello!
I need to export the value of a variable to an external .txt file.
An example:
I recieve one trap with four variables (let's name them variable1, variable2,
variable3, and variable4) and need to export the value (String type) of only
variable2 to a log file, discarding the other three.

Do you know if is possible to create a script to do that?
