Felix,
I'd build an event rule (in EventDisp) using the TrapOID to create a unique
event. Wouldn't create an alarm.
Since it is a Unique event, you can only place {S 2} in the event message,
discarding the other 3 variables. I recommend that you include the model name
of the device sending the trap, so that you know what models are being affected.
Then I would create a daily scheduled event report to extract that event only.
I have created hundreds of custom events based on traps, and only retained the
important variables in my logic.
Hope this helps :)
Kind regards,
Fred

Subject: [spectrum] Export value to an external file with Spectrum r9.1
Date: Fri, 28 Feb 2014 11:46:35 +0100
Hello!
I need to export the value of a variable to an external .txt file.
An example:
I recieve one trap with four variables (let's name them variable1, variable2,
variable3, and variable4) and need to export the value (String type) of only
variable2 to a log file, discarding the other three.
--------------------------
Do you know if is possible to create a script to do that?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards.
