We have turned off monitoring of ports on switches which are not connected to other switches or network devices, using Global Collections based on the Attribute "NetworkLinkType", combined with a multi-rule policy based on the Livepipes set of rules. There is one G.C. of "do monitor" ports, and the other G.C. of "do not monitor".
