As a start, look at the script for Cisco NXOS devices. Click on NCM -> NX OS; go to the information tab and click on 'Capture Startup Configuration Script'. Use the 'Export' link to export the Perl script. Copy that to your Spectroserver and modify as needed - you can execute the perl script from there and play to your heart's content until you get it right. The calling arguments for the script are all documented right at the top of the script. It works by logging into the device and then Sending commands and looking for results using Net::SSH::Expect.
Once you have the scripts working correctly, create a new NCM family using whatever criteria you need - that part is well-documented.
