Hi Jon, list,

you could configure an event disposition for the "model created" event to fire 
up an alarm (e.g. with minor or normal severity).
Within a corresponding notifier, you might send your trap and immediately clear 
the alarm.

Hi Jon
You can¹t use SANM if it¹s just an event that you want the script to fire off 
of. SANM triggers off of alarms.

Options I can think of are Š
Use the CORBA API to watch for the specific event and then trigger off of that. 
Write a script that periodically checks for new devices and run your script 
from there.
