CLASSIFICATION: UNCLASSIFIED We use it extensively. We also use trap forwarding using Spectrum. You basically send traps to just one Spectrum server and it keeps a running mini-database of the devices within the entire landscape to forward these messages to. We really like it. It somewhat replaces the trapexploder functionality.
The only issue we had was that we had to restart our trap receiver (spectroserver process) when there were new SNMPv3 profiles added. I haven't' used trapexploder in a while, but I really loved it when I did. It does have support for SNMPv3. Michael S.
