I'm actually just using a checkout of codespeed rather than a release, so I'm already making use of the Django 1.8 support. I considered going ahead and using Python 3 as well, but decided against for the initial setup since the Python 3 support is so new in codespeed. I will look into upgrading after things are running (as I have time), though.
