Hi Guys and Gals, In the notation I use, where lower case means a slice, instead of taking the long way around, like L2 R2 D2 L2 F2 L2 R2 B2 R2 D2 which is 10 moves, or L2 R2 D U' B2 F2 D U' which is 8 moves, my 4-spot pattern is four moves: r2 u r2 u'.
The 6-spot pattern is four moves, too: r f r' f'. I'm interested in the fewest moves needed to solve the cube using this notation. What metric should these be classified within?
