Dear Friends,
First of all let me introduce my self.
My name is Konstantinos Verdes from Greece.
I am 30 years old and my profession is surveying engineering.
I am the son of Panayiotis Verdes who is the inventor of the Olympicube range,
or better the NxNxN Cube.
My father profession, also, is surveying engineering and for 2+1/2 years the
cube-puzzle designs and construction.
For about 2 years i TRY to read your discussions about speedcubing.
I must tell that it was very difficult for me to catch you at the beginning.
You see i only Knew how to solve the 3x3x3 Rubiks Cube and that back to late
80s.
Now i can solve any size (2x2x2, 3x3x3, 4x4x4, 5x5x5, 6x6x6) but not in the
sense of speedcubing.
As you can imagine when my father told me about his invention i begun to
search over the internet and then i found your really interesting and hardcore
discussion group.
I must admit that you are all fantastic and i really enjoy trying to follow
your mind.
I think that i want to write sooooo much but I will try to answer as good as
my poor English allows me, some subjects that this topic brings.

You are right Koen. The OlympiCube No6a will be available for the public
soon-during the 2006.
You will be able to order it through our web-site which by the way will
change completely during the next 5-6 months. You will also be able to find it
in many stores, that i cannot tell it yet.
I dont know yet if the OlympiCube No6a will be include in yours events but i
am sure that in the future we will also organize same events-open to any kind
of cube i.e Rubiks-Mefferts-Eastsheen-Olympicubes and let the athletes decide.
As far for the time i cannot tell much. I solve the OlympiCube No6a in about
15-20 minutes using beginners techniques.
I am sure that all of you laughing with that time.
Also i dont Know which cube will be better for speedcubing the No6a or the
No6b because we havent constructed the last one YET.

The OlympiCube No 6a is very stable. Much more than all the Known cubes of
any size. I know that you are crazy and the meaning of stability to you maybe
is different than the other common people, but if i think the other cubes that
i have in hands then the surprise directly when you open the box of the
OlympiCube No6a will be huge.
As far as it depends the replacing parts we will discuss it when the time
comes and we will sure find a solution. But I assure you that the internals are
not fragile-delicates and i dont think that you will easily break a piece. The
pops also dont happen while i speedscrambling the cube.
I must also want to tell in public that i already talked -off the record-with
two Champions Frank Morris and Per Kristen Fredlund
and we will invite them to video-test the OlympiCube No5, the OlympiCube No6a
and the OlympiCube No7 during 2006.
The price of these products will be quite reasonable and approachable for
such monsters but i cant tell it yet.
The OlympiCube invention is patented in Greece and patented pending in 21
countries+European Union, that is the the three quarters of the Known world.
We follow successfully all the necessary legal steps and we will also start the
trademark procedure during the next month.
I may show you our logo soon.
Finally i would like to invite anyone who thinks that is able to write
solutions ( for beginners, for intermediate and for experts) for the 5x5x5,
6x6x6 and the 7x7x7 for our webpage and for our packages-manuals to e-mail me
in [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Of course we will pay him/them for the services and their names will appear
in the website-manuals.
Please feel free to ask-answer me anything either in public, either in
private.
Thanks
Konstantinos
