As much as I hate to recommend a product I don't believe in....

I've just learned via twistypuzzles that Restoration Hardware now has 
the cube for $12.  Evidently they are not shrinkwrapped.  So go to your 
local location, try them all out until they get mad at you, then pick 
one that suits your needs.

They are something of a replica of the old 80's Ideal cubes.  But, they 
are just the basic Winning Moves cubes with an 80's style package and 
logo sticker.  What gets my goat is they still use the paper stickers.  
Were they vinyl, I would buy a ton of them.
