For the 4x4 : I prefer the Rubik's one because it's very easy to see the pieces ant it's a bit bigger.
For the 5x5 : It depends on the part of the cube I solve: If I solve the centers and the edges : I prefer the eastsheen one If I solve it as a 3x3 : I prefer the Rubik's one The biggest issue for the eastsheen 5x5 is that you really need to have the layers aligned to be able to turn it, which is not exactly the case for the Rubik's 5x5.
