My COLL > move average (again, using the ones on my page) is 9.22 moves. This > takes into the probabilities of each case and a 1/27 chance to skip > OLL, assuming you orient all edges during F2L. > > OLL - 9.68 moves > PLL - 11.9 moves + .75 = 12.65 > COLL - 9.22 moves > EPLL - 9.4 moves + .75 = 10.15
Bob, For Your 1/27 chance of skip OLL, Have you taken into account that only 1/6 of these will be a true COLL skip? 1/162 chance of COLL skips, is that right? If you're using OE, COLL, PELL, and you don't know PLL, then an OLL skip doesn't help you unless it's a COLL skip. Also, I averaged Just the 15 perfect sequences for COLL on Lars Petrus' website and came up with 10.6666 moves avg. It's hard for me to believe that COLL is only 9 moves avg. Seems like it should be more... Jason K ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Get fast access to your favorite Yahoo! Groups.
