I have a few of each, and in each case the Studio 4x4x4 is looser than a Winning Moves 4x4x4. However the appearance is identical, including the stickers. So it makes me think they are not made in the same place as the Studio 3x3x3. Maybe they are just assembled in a different factory, where the adjustments are made differently, hence the different feel.
