Per, would you please accept that nobody says it will be illegal to pop? It will be completely legal! I don't know what you want. Just like it is legal to tip over all hurdles and continue and get a valid time, you can pop and continue and get a valid time. Where's the problem? I think it's a pretty much perfect analogy.
And if pops aren't the fault of the cuber, who's fault are they? God's? Cause it's not the organizers, it's not the judges, it's not the other competitors, it's not the spectators. It's *you* who pops with *your* cube. Why is it not *your* fault? Cheers!
