I got some white ones as recently as October and they were still type A. For some reason, Rubiks.com altered their photo of the white kit to depict arched centers. This has led to speculation that white type B cubes are in the making. They still limit us to 2 cubes per order, like it's some limited edition thing. So it may take a while to clear their existing type A stock.
