I agree, looking ahead is the most important thing for the largest part of the cube solution. I suggest you reach 20 seconds for F2L (cross included), then swith to 2-Look LL (or use a basic edge control). Then try to reach 15 seonds for the F2L, then improve your algs for the LL, then 10 seconds F2L, then sub5 for the LL, then you are one of the best :D
