The Ctrl-K isn't working for me...when I press Ctrl-E, it opens the picture on 
Paint, and there's no option there with ctrl-K...

Haha, you turned it into a video... Dude, isn't that harder than just 
resizing it as pictures? What operating system do you use? In Windows 
XP I do this:

double-click it
CTRL-E
CTRL-K
20 TAB 20 ENTER
ALT-F4 ENTER

That takes about 5-10 seconds. And the result is this 37 kb picture:

And to answer your question: There's nothing mysterious about it. It's 
extremely easy to open and close it without damaging it at all.
