No, sorry, no buy-it-now. One thing I really like about Ebay is that I
don't have to make up a price, I can let the market decide and thus
get a fair market price. Selling directly only results in me feeling
bad, either because I'm ripping someone off or because I could get
more in an auction.
In the past I've also used a reserve price a few times, I started it
because I panicked when a valuable puzzle didn't have any bid after 2
days or so. But now I don't want to do that anymore, it only distorts
the picture and I want to let the market decide.
And in many cases I'm curious to know what an puzzle is worth, i.e.
what it is worth to other people, for example those that I prepare for
speedsolving, but also the rare ones.
