nah, we're nice people. we all started out slow (well
i'm still quite slow now but that's another matter
:-p). it's cool you are interested in speedcubing.

you don't really solve the first 2 layers seperately.
you make a pair of a corner together with the right
edge in the
top layer (if your cross is at the bottom). then you
insert the pair into the right slot, rather then
solving the corners first then inserting the edge.
