My Rubik's 5x5x5 has enough mass and heft that I always thought it 
could do some serious damage if slammed or hurled into someone's 
head.

That could make an interesting episode of "Law and Order" - 
competitive cuber murdered by someone else. I can just hear the 
morbid comment the detective would make at the top of the show:

"Now that's a puzzle he'll never get to solve."
