So this was a dispute over nothing basically ... But i would still claim regarding the fatigue that 1 hr cubing is not really related to 24 hr cubing. Someone doing worse than another guy for 1 hr cubing may have more stamina for the 24 hr cubing. I don't think that too many ppl are gonna attempt to break the record anyway.
