1) 3 kings isn't a random chess position... it's an impossible/illegal chess position 2) weird legal things aren't that hard to come up with, but are hard to memorize because they don't make sense. for example let's say I can take your queen with my bisschop, instead I put my knight in front of your rook... it's a legal move, but it doesn't make sense (and thus let's call it random), so it's much harder to memorize...
