Hi all, I just started using Benoit's driver, and I've got a little problem here, namely, regular disconnects every 2.1 minutes. I'm aware this has already been reported, and I'm currently testing Titoune's suggestion (found on this list's archive) to add : lcp-echo-interval 600 lcp-echo-failure 10 to the /etc/ppp/peers/adsl file. I'm also testing other values, to try and increase stability. I run a debian unstable, pppd 2.4.1, vanilla 2.4.7 kernel except for the n_hdlc patch. At any rate, the FAQ states that if one can reproduce the problem, one should send email to this ML, so I'm doing just that :-) What kind of trace/logs can I gather to help getting rid of that issue?
