You're gonig in the wrong way :
1 - Don't use patched pppd
2 - Don't use Speedmgmt
3 - Don't even think about using something from alcatel
with our driver (except the mgmt.o file)
Our driver and alcatel's driver are simply incompatible. If you mix them,
you will fail using both of them...
