There shouldn't be but you (probably) don't want to be running both at
once. Your routing is likely to get extremely hairy, especially if you
allow two default routes.
Without some careful fiddling with ip rule add etc you are likely to
see traffic going out on the "wrong" interface. (Just because you send
a packet out with a source IP of ppp0 doesn't mean that it will go out
over ppp0 if a route to the destination exists on another interface as
well.)
Note also that ppp0, ppp1 etc aren't guaranteed. I think the kernel
picks the next available interface.
