hi all, I'm using Redhat 7.3 and I downloaded the startup script which auto-starts speedtouch driver and pppd, but it seems to be giving a lot of debugging information compared to when I start modem_run normally as root. Then I only get 2 lines echo'd:
usbdevfs: USBDEVFS_BULK failed dev 2 ep 0x81 len 16 ret -110 usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout however when I use the startup script I get about 20 times more of the above messages, along with debug info like: BLOCK1 : 991 bytes uploaded : OK BLOCK2 : 511 bytes downloaded : OK BLOCK3 : 526187 bytes uploaded : OK BLOCK4 : 511 bytes downloaded : OK Is there any way to redirect or just stop it from showing all this debug info? Why is it that it doesn't appear when I run modem_run in console as root but appears when running the script?? Any help appreciated, thanks!
