I would appreciate advice on resolving the problem on using ADSL on SuSE 8.1. My ADSL setup using Benoit's method on SuSE 7.3 was running OK until I upgraded to SuSE 8.1. I followed the instructions given on http://benoit.papillault.free.fr/speedtouch/user.en.php3 to setup the ADSL again. Loading the modules, firmware and launching pppd happen without errors. However with ifconfig ppp0, I get error
