Hi Guldo, I'm sorry you are going through this pain.  I didn't realize that
these packages need such a recent libc.  You could upgrade to sid, but
I advise you not to.  I think what you should do is install the user space
speedtouch driver (http://speedtouch.sourceforge.net/) for the moment.
In the meantime I will try to solve the pppoatm aware ppp problem (this
is by far the most painful part of using the kernel mode driver; I thought
I had solved it thanks to the SuSe packages, but it seems I was wrong!).
