Ja dit document schrijf ik dan bij deze zelf ;) Iedere computer op het internet heeft 'n unieke IP(soort van postcode op 't internet) de IP bestaat uit 4 reeksen getallen die tot 255 gaan xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Omdat dit lastig te onthouden is hebben ze een systeem bedacht om dit makkelijker te maken...dus door alles te namen....bv hccnet.nl dat is aan NAME en die NAME stuurt jou door naar 'n ip voor hccnet.nl is dat 62.251.0.16 het is dus eigelijk een verweizing of snelkoppeling. om deze omzetting van NAME naar IP nummer op te vragen word het woord HCCNET.NL naar 'n NAMESERVER of beter genaamd DNS-SERVER en die stuurt jou dan de juiste ip terug zodat jij op de juiste web pagina komt. Dus als je geen nameservers heb ingesteld dan kan je geen names op vragen(resolven) maar alleen met directe ip nummers werken...
