No. You only need to install a kernel module and I guess you just did!
If you aren't connected, please send the following:
(1) complete output from configuring, compiling and installing the
speedbundle (the easiest way to do this is to use the script command.
This records everything that happens in the command window until
you type "exit", storing it in the file "typescript". For example:
script
./configure
make
(become root)
make install
(become you)
exit
(post "typescript" to the list).
(2) the result of doing
/sbin/lsmod
(3) the result of doing
cat /proc/net/atm/speed*
(4) the contents of /var/log/messages or /var/log/syslog depending
on which file system messages get stored in on your machine.
