Can the user space tools set up a bridged, PPPoE over ATM connection? I've only
been able to do that
with the in-kernel tools. There isn't a Gentoo page on the
http://www.linux-usb.org/SpeedTouch/index.html site because there isn't a
standard way of installing
Gentoo. Everyone who installs Gentoo is going to end up with a unique system,
that makes it hard to
write a howto that can cope with the variability. Try reading
http://www.linux-usb.org/SpeedTouch/LFS/index.html and
http://home.regit.org/br2684.html
Good luck
