Hi, I'm setting up an internet access box for a shop in a village. At home I have a broadband account with Wanadoo. I use Fedora Core 3 and eventually got connected using the speedbundle and much fiddling. I took the machine to the shop. The shopowner has a BT account and the same revision (4.00) speedtouch modem. Curiosly though he did not have a password for his account. I had requested that I would need his user name and password. He had contacted BT and they had told him that he did not have one and would not need one for the broadband account. So I edited the chap-secrets & pap-secrets files to include his username and deleted the part about his password. I also changed the user name in the ifcfg-ppp0 file.
