Further complications. On checking the SpeedTouch website I am unable to spot any modem which looks like mine. Windows Control Panel/Hardware tells me that the modem is SpeedTouch 330. Wanadoo Tech Support line confirms this, and suggests searching teh speedtouch website when I press for extra details. The Wanadoo installation CD has a PDF document which refers to SpeedTouch 330 R3.5 The modem itself, when I drag it out from under the desk, is badged ATEN, with IEEE-1284 Auto Switch and what I take to be a model number AS-8144B, and 4 leds labelled E, B, D, A. I have been unable to find a reference to this model on the ATEN website.
