[speedtouch] failure to link suse to speedtouch modem

Digging under the table again I correctly identify the modem.
It is dark grey and has two bar codes underneath, labelled S/N CP0550AT0Z1 and 
DSLBB607SL  AAA2

Sorry about the confusion, I said I was a novice.
