I am new to Linux and Unix and have little knowledge of either.
My operating system is SUSe Linux 10.1. I have followed your "Linux kernel driver for SpeedTouch USB modems" and after reboot, I try to contact Suse for updates and cannot. (This is the only way I know of to determine whether I am connected to my ISP.) I wonder what I am doing wrong and hope you can help. It would help me considerably if I could make the connection by clicking on an applet - as one does in Windows and have a report on connection success.
