I am new to Linux and have just installed a Fedora 4 system.

I have tried to use the instructions/script to install a driver for a Speedtouch
330 revision 2 modem but have encountered a problem running the command
./firmware-extractor
KQD6-3.012.

I have to use WindowsXP/Internet Explorer to access the script. The
firmware-extractor
is onlyavailable as a web page and not as a downloadable file. As a Web Page
under Explorer it can only be saved as: a web page or a text file or an archive
file.

If I save it as a web page or text file and run: chmod +x firmware-extractor
followed by ./firmware-extractor KQD6_3.012 I get the error message
' cannot execute a binary file'.

If I save it as an archive file and run the same commands I get sevaral error
messages ' line *** : : command not found.

Is firmware-extractor available as a downloadable file or is there another
solution to this?
