At first glance it's not clear what is going on. So can you please
do the following: make sure that usbcore is loaded with usbfs_snoop=1
(usbfs_snoop is a module parameter). You can do this by (as root)
removing usbcore then reloading it:
rmmod usbcore
modprobe usbcore usbfs_snoop=1
Beware! The rmmod will stop any usb devices working, so if you have
a usb keyboard you are in deep trouble because you won't be able to
type the second line (though you can always run them both together
from a script, or cut and paste the both of them). This will dump
even more stuff to your system logs... Please send log extracts.
