Hello,
I'm still working on the problem with br2684ctl. Now I'm trying to
understand how all the pieces fit together to make the whole thing work.
I've rechecked the kernel configuration and I've noticed that some
options that are recommended to be selected were not selected in my
configuration.
One of these options is:
Device Drivers --->
Character devices --->
* [*] Non-standard serial port support
* [*] HDLC line discipline support
What are the roles of these modules in modem communication?
