I found an article refering to this modem(ZTE ZXDSL 852), on the following link
http://lwn.net/Articles/204861/ witch let me to this site
but I can't get it to run. Is it even posible for this modem? I guess it's
ussing speedtouch chipset, as I researched it.
Under fedora core 4 but I got an exception, but I would like to make it work
under fedora 7.
I followed the fedora instructions and this is what I get on my /var/messages
logfile

How can I tell if the firmware is loaded? If I give a lsmod I see the cxacru ,
usbatm, atm modules loaded.. but dont know how to tell if firmware is loaded.
I have rp-pppoe package istalled and selinux disabled, so no problem from there.
I used the Kqd6_3.012 firmware , My /proc/drivers/usb... gives me revsion 0.01
Please help, Is I am stuck with this modem, and loking for a driver for more
than a year, with no results. I got my hopes up finding this site, but I can't
get it to work.
I also wrote a while ago to ZTE support ,blaming them for not having a linux
driver and they sent me this back, witch I atached to mail
but I could not compile that either. As I saw, the firmware is in there for ZTE
ZXDSL 852 but some other format, as the firmare extractor can't extract it
Thanx in advance
