Or am I understanding you wrong?
I think what I am trying to get across is that the HTML code fails in ways like Frank has reported. It fails validation. This you already know. Looking at the raw code does not help any one. You asked if there were browser's that had problems. I said yes. The raw HTML code does not help. I just know many times I get results that are bogus. For example take any of the good .org URL's and change it to .com instead and see what you get. I should have been clear'er. I did not mean top level only. I will have to make notes as I type in a .com instead of a .org and then tell you as I do not remember them. All I have to do is replace the .com with .org and they work. Few of the links cause the same issue but as I said I do not remember them. When ever I have problems I take the raw HTML code and put it in the validator for HTML and it fails. So the raw code is not going to help. Only what is generating the code.
