It's really broken code, I just started hacking without shame!
It does work in the sense that it takes a project and produces a PDF.
It doesn't produce a NICE pdf, or even a decent PDF. There is no way to pass
it options, styles, etc, which rst2pdf supports.
Hopefully someone who understands sphinx code (I don't) can work on that side,
I push from the rst2pdf side and we meet in the middle ;-)
